Product Detail

This is a genuine Westinghouse water purification filter designed for WSE6070 refrigerators with water and ice dispensers. Part numbers are 240396407K and ACC109. It's a cartridge filter suitable for select Westinghouse and Electrolux fridges with ice and water features. The filter measures 170mm in length, with tube diameter of 48mm and inlet/outlet hole outer diameter of 10mm (3/8'). It's a true replacement for Westinghouse WSE6070SA, WSE6070WA, and ESE6078WA, and might fit other models too. It effectively reduces chlorine, rust, dirt, and other particles. Also, it helps prevent lime scale buildup and offers extra protection for the ice maker. The black-and-white filter in the photos is the early version; the current supply is an all-white filter. If you're not sure if it fits your fridge, contact us with the full model number before buying. We've been supplying appliance parts for over 25 years, so you can shop with confidence.

Using this Westinghouse water filter is easy. First, make sure your fridge is unplugged for safety. Locate the filter housing in your fridge, usually near the water dispenser area. Twist or slide the old filter out, depending on your fridge model. Then, take your new all - white filter and insert it into the housing, making sure it's properly seated. Plug your fridge back in and run some water through the dispenser to flush out any initial impurities. As for maintenance, replace the filter every 6 months or as recommended by the manufacturer to keep your water and ice clean. If you notice a change in water taste or flow, it might be time for a replacement. When in doubt about fitting or other issues, always reach out to us with your fridge's full model number.
